Allegra Geller, world renowned game designer and Ted Pikul, PR man and stand in body guard are on the run from Realist Assassins. It is night when they pull into a small town gas station. The attendant, “Gas”, recognizes Allegra Geller and falls at her feet.

Gas: “Allegra Geller you changed my life!”

Pikul: “What was your life like before?”

Gas: “Before?”

Pikul: “Before it was changed by Allegra Geller.”

Gas: “I operated a gas station.”

Pikul: “You still operate a gas station, don’t you?”

Gas: “Only on the most pathetic level of reality.”
